SIM Diary

Yesterday was my fifth month in the company. I believe I am now subject for my superior’s evaluation.

Well, I am on the positive side of it. Hope to be permanently employed here. If I would be asked what has been my contributions within my probationary period, I could not probably enumerate them all. Glad we have our SIM (Short Interval Management) Diary – this is where we write down are day-to-day tasks, due date of which including its status.

At least from there, I can present what I have done during the days prior to my evaluation. We are also bound to write in there everything that has been discussed in our weekly SIM meeting.

Things here in our office are based on performance and attitude. As for myself, I am certain about the former but as to the latter I would rather not comment about it. 🙂

But one thing is for sure. I love it here.

Friday Sickness

Thanks God it’s Friday! The phrase that we usually hear during Fridays. We can also see this more often on shout outs.

Most of the times, employees are excited. Excited to go home early. Excited for their planned gimmicks. Due to this excitement, they tend to become sluggish or even lazy at work.

Others do not even attend or go to work to enjoy long weekends.

This is what we termed as Friday Sickness.

Core Meeting

Core meeting is a monthly gathering of all APC by Schneider Electric’s employees wherein everyone is being updated of company’s performance, more of operational status.

This month’s CM was initially scheduled August 9 but due to unknown circumstance it was postponed. A while ago, I just received an announcement that it will be pushed within today.

This meeting is simply leaving a lot of questions for majority of APC people. It could either be good or bad news. For me, lets just wait and see. Anyways, I am not yet used to it.
